Prepping a Sales Presentation

Sales presentations can be easy or very tricky. Prepare for tricky, it helps everyone. These are tips to give your launch, seminar or workshop the impact it needs.

  • Keep it short – seriously! What’s your message in one sentence? Figure that out and work out cropped-Dee-Organ-Photography-051-IMG_6845.jpgfrom there. If you can’t say it in one sentence, you won’t say it in a thousand.
  • Slides – decide if they’ll help your audience or not, they’re not for you, the speaker. Although they can help…..and that’s ok as long as you don’t put every word on the slide!
  • Bring Customer Service and Accounts: Many clients will put huge value on service so at sales presentations include the non-sales people too. Include the customer service, technical support manager, the accounts team-lead it adds credibility and moves beyond the shiny suit brigade.

Remember, how others do it isn’t necessarily the right way, figure out what’ll work for you. Chances are your customer will love the variety.
